The location of this hotel was perfect for exploring the nearby hiking trails, including the famous Ella's Rock. The owners of the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to fulfill any request. The food served at the hotel was absolutely delicious, especially the rice and curry. I highly recommend trying their meals instead of looking for other dining options. Additionally, the staff made my stay even more enjoyable by arranging a 5am walk to a nearby attraction at a reasonable price.

Quiet, clean, with nice view and lovely hosts. Helpful owner, went hiking with us. Great breakfast and dinner options available. Close to railway, can walk to nine arch bridge. Amazing stay, would return.

I would have asked for more assistance from the staff when it comes to carrying luggage and helping senior guests with their belongings. While the children working there were friendly and accommodating, having dedicated help for older individuals would have made for an even better vacation experience.

The view from my room was breathtaking, with terraced fields and coconut trees surrounding the property. The food, prepared with ingredients from their garden, was absolutely delicious. The hosts also took me on a guided hike to Ella Rock early in the morning, which was an unforgettable experience. I had the opportunity to learn about their lives, family, and farming. I highly recommend this authentic and quiet retreat for anyone visiting Sri Lanka.
